Both ABSTRACT & FIGURATIVE work mainly in acrylics and mixed media. Large and small, framed and unframed, with strong design and imaginative sense. Encapsulated textures contained may often be seen as pictures within pictures.

My love of the Cornish environment may also lead me into the use of associated motifs and icons of the surrounding landscape and historic culture, for which I may also use a more literal and figurative painting style. Such images may also be absorbed in ambiguous rendering within creative abstraction.
